A Nice Day in Petaluma Part I

Husbando organized for us to go on a brewery tour of Lagunitas Brewery in Petaluma today.  Since we haven't spent much time together the last few weeks due to work, we decided to make a day of it in Petaluma.  The downtown is adorable and has tons of antique shops, toy stores and restaurants.

We decided on Cafe Zazzle for lunch.  All kinds of tasty healthy things were there.  This is what we got--some wrap thingy and a salad.  TASTY!

Cafe Zazzle has a fun brick wall--looks like something that should be in SF.  What are those things hanging from the ceiling you ask?  Noise dampeners.  I had no idea.

I'm going to post on the brewery tour and tasting in a separate post because there are just too many GD pictures (most of which got blurry by the end because the picture taker (me) was a bit wasted (I was not driving)).

Next we went to Chick A Boom Vintage which for some reason doesn't have a website.

This place is perfect for a crafter, actor, or nostalgia collector.  There were endless racks of dresses.  I wish I could wear them all or sew reproductions of all of them.  I was really taken by the 50's and 60's.

I have this week off from work and am thinking of spending one day up in Petaluma wandering again.  What a fun place to relax--and parking is so easy!
